About this piece

Tall Chest with Sculpted Wave Pulls, Nordic Solid Wood 4-Drawer Chest with Rounded Corners and Low Plinth, 30 to 42 Inch

A tall four-drawer chest in a calm, rounded case. Each drawer has a sculpted wave groove across its front that serves as the pull, so there is no hardware. The corners are softly rounded down to a low plinth. Made to order in solid wood and finished by hand.

Solid wood dresser with carved wave drawer fronts in a bedroom

A carved solid wood dresser for the bedroom

Wave, ripple and relief fronts worked by hand

Wide double dressers, tall chests of drawers and low Japandi pieces, each with drawer fronts carved into flowing waves, ripples, dunes or bold relief. Every dresser is cut from solid natural wood and hand-finished to order.

  • Solid natural wood
  • Carved drawer fronts
  • Four tones · one price

The carving runs across the drawers

The pattern is carved across the whole front, so when the drawers are closed the waves line up drawer to drawer as one continuous surface. Edges are rounded and sanded smooth, and the carved hollows double as the pulls on many designs.

Every front is one of one; grain and carving depth vary piece to piece.

Dresser questions

Does it need assembly?
Most dressers arrive ready to use. Where legs or a base ship separately, the hardware is included and they fix on in minutes.
Should I anchor it?
Yes for tall chests and anywhere children are around. Use the anti-tip fixing into a stud so it cannot tip when drawers are open.
How is the size given?
Every size lists width x depth x height. Check the wall length and leave room in front to pull the drawers fully out.
How do I care for the carving?
Dust the carved fronts with a soft brush, wipe with a barely damp cloth and re-oil now and then to keep the grain rich.
What is shown with it?
Lamps, mirrors and decor in our photos are styling only and are not included. You receive the wooden dresser.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.

Drawers worth looking at

Made to order for your bedroom, the grain of your dresser belongs to one tree only.
