About this piece

Industrial Bracket Shelf, Thick Solid Wood Wall Shelf with Black Metal L-Brackets and Squared Edge, Single or Set of 2 to 4

A thick plank of solid wood with a squared edge and natural grain, set on black metal brackets. The brackets fix to the wall and run beneath the shelf, so the wood carries the look. It holds plants, books and small objects over a desk or sideboard. Finished by hand to order.

A closer look

One plank, floating

A single solid wood floating shelf — or a set of them — floating clean off the wall. Live edge or straight, this wall shelf is always real timber with a grain of its own.

Carved, reeded, live-edge or a stacked set

Close-up of a live-edge floating shelf edge

The edge is the whole point

On these live-edge, handmade pieces the wall side is trued and the room side is left as the tree grew — bark line, curve and the occasional resin river.

Sealed for kitchens and baths too; wipe clean.

Where it works

Over the counter

Sealed and solid — a kitchen storage shelf for jars, boards and everyday reach.

In the bathroom

A wall mounted wood shelf that handles bathroom steam; a slim ledge for plants and bottles.

As a picture ledge

A floating display shelf for the living room or bedroom — lean frames and art instead of drilling a dozen times.

Mounting & sizes

How does it hang with no brackets?
Concealed steel rods slot into the wall and into the shelf, so even a long floating shelf hangs wall mounted with nothing visible; fixings are included and rated to the size.
One board or several?
Both are sold — the listing says one-piece or a set, and the set is priced lower.
Same price in each tone?
Yes — only the size (or set count) changes the price.
