Thick slab legs fold down from the top in a waterfall line, one straight and one wide and angled, so the grain runs unbroken over the edges. Two drawers sit in the apron above open knee room. Use it as a makeup vanity in the bedroom or as a writing desk. Made to order in solid wood and finished by hand.

A closer look

One straight leg, one angled slab

A vanity desk with a lopsided stance

The top folds down at one end into a slim upright leg and at the other into a wide slab that kicks out at an angle toward the floor. The grain carries over both edges without a break, so the swirls on the top keep going down the sides.

Grain you can read from above

Seen from above, the figure in the top swirls across the whole surface and wraps over the front edge. Two shallow drawers sit in the apron for brushes, palettes and jewelry, and the open front leaves room for a stool or a desk chair.

About the angled slab leg

Does the angled leg take up floor space?
Yes, a little. It flares out toward the floor at one end, so allow a few extra inches on that side.
Can I use it as a writing desk?
Yes. The open front and 32" height suit a desk chair as well as a vanity stool.
Does the tone change the price?
No. All four tones cost the same; only the width changes the price.
