About this piece

Root Sculpted Wooden Vessel Sink, Solid Wood Bathroom Basin with Raw Flared Ends, Rugged Sides and Sealed Interior, 14 to 20 Inch

A sculptural bowl carved from a root block, with a rugged body and raw ends that flare outward. Inside, a contrasting dark basin is sealed for daily use. It sits on top of the counter as the centerpiece of a vanity. No two are alike; each is carved and finished by hand.

A closer look

Carved, then sealed

A live-edge bowl or a wavy organic rim — each wooden vessel sink is carved from solid natural wood, sealed inside and hand-finished to order to sit on top of your vanity.

  • Carved solid wood
  • Sealed interior
  • Four tones · one price

Why wood can hold water

The interior is sealed so water beads and runs to the drain; the outside keeps the feel of the wood. Wipe it dry after use and it stays that way for years.

Each bowl is carved by hand — rim and grain are one of one.

Live-edge bowl or wavy rim, styled four ways

Living with a wooden basin

  1. 01

    Wipe after use

A quick dry with a towel keeps the seal fresh.
  2. 02

    Skip harsh cleaners

Mild soap and water only — no bleach or abrasive pads.
  3. 03

    Refresh the seal

Re-seal once a year, or sooner if water stops beading.

Plumbing and care

What do I need to install it?
It sits on top of a vanity like any vessel sink and takes a standard vessel drain. Drain, tap and plumbing are not included — pair it with a tall or wall-mounted tap.
Will it crack or warp?
Kept wiped and resealed, it is stable; avoid leaving standing water in it for long periods.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.
