Wave Crest Backrest Bench, Solid Wood Garden and Entryway Bench with Carved Rippled Back, Square Arms and Slab Legs, 40 to 83 Inch

Deep, flowing grooves run across the backrest, and its top edge rises and falls in a rippled crest. It sits on posts above a thick seat, with square arms at each end and solid slab legs below. Sturdy enough for a porch or garden path, and at home in an entry or mudroom. Carved and finished by hand to order.

The live edge is the armrest

The seat keeps the natural edge of the board, with sweeping or flared slab ends cut from the same timber, so the bench reads as one piece of wood.

Grain and knots vary piece to piece — the character of real wood.

Can it go outside?
Keep it under cover — a porch or covered patio — and re-oil each season; solid wood left in rain will grey and move.
Does it need assembly?
Smaller benches arrive ready to use; larger ones may need legs or a backrest bolted on, fixings included.
How do I choose a length?
Allow about 18–20" of seat per person; the size changes the price.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.
