About this piece

Crescent Base Oval Coffee Table, Sculptural Solid Wood Table with One Sweeping Crescent and Open Void Below, 42 to 60 Inch

A smooth oval top rests on a single crescent of solid wood that sweeps from end to end. The curve leaves one open void beneath the top, so the table looks light from the side. Low and wide, it sits in front of a sofa or sectional. Made to order and finished by hand.

A closer look

The middle of the room

A coffee table you build a room around

Grounded, tactile, the surface everyone reaches across. This solid wood coffee table is shaped and hand-finished from natural timber — the top you gather at is grained like nowhere else.

  • Solid natural wood
  • Four tones, one price
Live-edge solid wood coffee table in a living room
Close-up of a live-edge coffee table edge

The edge the tree drew

A live edge coffee table follows the trunk it was cut from; knots, rivers and natural edge land where the wood decided. What a factory calls a flaw, we leave as proof it is real.

Grain, knots and colour vary piece to piece — that is the wood, not a defect.

Four takes on one idea

Ways to live with it

Stack and layer

In the living room, books, a tray, a low bowl — a still life you actually move.

Anchor the seats

Centred on the rug, this rustic coffee table pulls sofa and chairs together.

Let it breathe

Open space keeps the grain of the handmade top the thing you notice.

Before it ships

How high should it sit by my sofa?
At or just below the seat cushion. Check the coffee table height against your sofa before ordering.
Is a sculptural base stable?
Yes — sculptural, organic bases are weighted and balanced to stand firm on a level floor.
Do the tones change the price?
No. Only size does; all four tones and both finishes match.

Cut once, never repeated

Your wood coffee table is shaped by hand after you order. It echoes the photo — it will not clone it.
