Carved by hand, joined to last

The sculptural backs are shaped from solid wood rather than bent plywood, and the seats are contoured so you sit into the chair, not on top of it.

Grain and knots vary piece to piece, the character of real wood.

    Allow about 24 in of table edge per side chair, a little more for armchairs.

    Measure the gap under your table top before choosing an armchair so the arms slide under.

Each chair is sold singly. Where a set of 2 or 4 is offered, you will see it as an option on that listing.
Does it come with a cushion?
No. The seats are solid wood, shaped for comfort. Add your own seat pad if you like.
Does it need assembly?
Most chairs arrive ready to use; some may need the legs fixed with the hardware supplied.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a damp cloth, dry straight away, and re-oil occasionally. Felt pads protect hard floors.
