A wide panel of joined solid wood boards, with the top and sides left as a rough live edge. One broad wave is carved across the face, its band filled with fine parallel ridges that catch the light. The natural grain and knots show around it. It mounts to the wall behind a bed of matching width.

One broad wave sweeps across the face of this wide panel, its band filled with fine parallel ridges that pick up the light. Around it the plain wood is left alone, so the knots and swirling grain frame the carving.
