A heavy console built from thick beam timber. The plank top sits on square block legs, with a lower shelf near the floor for baskets or shoes. Saw marks, checks and knots are left in for a workbench feel. Made to order for an entryway and finished by hand.

    We pick the board for its figure and live edge before a single cut is made.

    Joined, not glued-up ply

    Legs, apron and top are cut and joined as solid timber to carry real weight.

    Finished by hand

    Sanded and oiled by hand so the grain stays open and warm to the touch.
