Swallowtail Shower Stool, Sculpted Solid Wood Bath Seat with Upswept Wing Tips and Arched Base on Tapered Feet
The seat is hollowed into a deep dish and sweeps up into two pointed wing tips. Below, a single heavy base opens into an arch and lands on two broad, tapered feet. The grain runs through the whole piece, so it reads as if carved from one block. Sealed for bathroom and shower use and finished by hand to order.
Slatted trestle benches, live edge slabs on stump legs, sculptural wave and loop benches with a towel shelf below, and small saddle, tripod and corner stools for the shower. Every piece is solid natural wood, sealed and hand-finished to order.
Slatted seats let water run straight through, and dished, saddle and slab tops are sanded smooth with rounded edges for bare skin. Each piece is sealed before it ships so splashes bead and wipe away.
Grain and knots vary piece to piece, the character of real wood.
| Shower bench | Shower stool | |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 32 to 65 in long, room to sit and set things down | 12 to 24 in tall, small enough for a shower corner |
| Tops | Slatted, live edge slab, carved seat hollows or sculpted curves | Saddle, round, D-shaped, dished or triangular corner seats |
| Extras | Some have a lower towel shelf or open cubby | The corner stool has a lower shelf |
| Best for | Walk-in showers, spa bathrooms, saunas and beside the tub | Seated shaving, foot rests and small showers |
Sealed and hand-finished to order, the grain of your shower bench is one of one.
Every piece is built by hand in our workshop, by people you can talk to before you order.
