A deep, boxy solid wood base with four pull-out drawers, two on each side, for bedding and clothes. The tall headboard is made of wide solid boards laid across, so the grain runs from side to side. Plain and solid, it fits a modern or traditional bedroom. Cut and finished by hand to order.

Four drawers under a solid bed

A deep, boxy base hides four pull-out drawers, two along each side, so spare sheets, sweaters and winter blankets live under the mattress instead of in a closet.

Drawers that slide out from the sides

The drawers open from the long sides of the bed, not the foot, so a bench or rug at the end never blocks them. Each one is a deep box with plain fronts that sit flush with the base when closed.

Setting up the drawer bed

    Leave pull-out room

    Keep clear floor along both sides so the drawers can open fully.
  2. 02

    Assemble in the bedroom

    The bed ships in parts and goes together where it will stand.
  3. 03

    Slide the drawers in

    Fit the four drawers once the base is built, then add your mattress.
