A closer look

A wave curling over a dark hollow

Thick rim, brushed dark center

The center of this round panel is carved deep and finished dark, with a brushed wave texture running across it. A thick natural rim wraps round and curls over one side like the lip of a breaking wave.

A focal point for the entryway

Hung above an entry bench or console, it gives a plain wall something to hold the eye as you walk in. The recessed center reads as depth from a distance and as texture up close.

What the carving does in different light

Daylight

Soft window light shows the brushed lines in the dark center.

Evening lamp

A low lamp sends shadow under the curled rim.

Spotlight

Light from above makes the rim stand out against the hollow.
