A deep, thick platform base sits on an undercut plinth, so it reads as floating. The solid headboard rises in a long wave that climbs higher at one corner. Broad, clean surfaces show the grain across the whole frame. Cut and finished by hand to order.

A wave climbing to one corner

Headboard that sweeps up one side

The solid headboard starts low at one end and rises in a long, smooth wave to a high corner on the other. Its broad face shows wide bands of grain from edge to edge.

Below, the deep platform sits on an undercut plinth, so the base appears to float.

Thick base, clean broad surfaces

The platform is deep and plain-sided, with no rails or carving to break the grain. The wave of the headboard carries over into the curve of the base where the two meet.

In the photos the wave climbs toward the left side as you face the bed.
