The headboard is dished and swept up at both ends, and the side rails dip in a gentle curve toward the middle. The frame stands on splayed, tapered legs in a classic mid-century line. The open space under the bed keeps it looking light. Cut and finished by hand to order.

A dished headboard on splayed legs

The headboard bows back in the middle and sweeps up at both ends, and the side rails dip toward their center before lifting again at the foot. Tapered legs angle outward at each corner in the classic mid century stance.

Rails that dip and lift

Seen from the side, the rail drops low near the middle of the bed and rises toward the head and foot, so the frame looks like it is gently cradling the mattress. The open gap under the frame keeps the floor visible.

Angled. Each tapered leg splays outward from the corner of the frame.
