About this piece

Live Edge Platform Bed with Bedside Ledges, Solid Wood Bed Frame with Long Wavy Slab Headboard and Floating Base, Queen or King

A low platform bed built around one long live edge slab. The headboard keeps the tree's wavy top edge, and a small ledge is built into each side for a book or phone. The thick platform rests on a recessed base, so it seems to hover above the floor. Made to order and finished by hand.

Mattress fit: the smaller size takes a US Queen mattress (60 x 80 in), the larger a US King (76 x 80 in).
Height: sizes are width x length x headboard height.

A closer look

A headboard that grows

The branches are carved and joined by hand from solid timber, so the headboard reads as one tree spreading across the wall rather than panels bolted together.

Every headboard is one of one — branch lines and grain vary.
