A closer look

The table you gather at

Dinners, homework, the good bottle at midnight. A solid wood dining table with a grain and edge that exist nowhere else.

  • Seats 4 to 12
  • Solid slab top
  • Four tones, one price
Live-edge river dining table in a rustic dining room
Close-up of a live-edge resin river dining top

Where two slabs meet, a river runs

On a live edge dining table the two edges face each other and resin fills the gap the tree left. Every void, knot and vein is the tree's — sealed for daily meals and made to last.

Sealed for food and spills; wipe clean and it wears in over years.

One table, many shapes

How yours is built

  1. 01

    Slab selected

A single wide board — walnut or another timber, or two matched for a river — is chosen for figure.
  2. 02

    Shaped & sealed

Edges kept live or trued, then sealed to shrug off meals and spills.
  3. 03

    Legs to suit

Trestle, pedestal or tapered legs — matched to the top and your dining room.

Seat the whole table

Measure for chairs

On a large dining table allow about 60cm per seat and room to pull out. Sizes on each listing.

Bench one side

A bench alongside a farmhouse dining table seats more and keeps the room open.

Let the top lead

On a rustic dining table a runner and a low centrepiece — the grain does the rest.

Before you commit

How many does it seat?
Each listing gives the length of the dining room table; roughly 60cm per person. Measure your dining room or kitchen first.
Is the resin river durable?
Yes — the resin is set flush and sealed with the wood; treat it like any fine table top.
Do tones cost the same?
Yes — only length and shape change the price, never the tone or finish.

A table with your family's grain

Made to order and never repeated — the handmade wood dining table your people will remember.
