The backrest is carved as layered, rippling waves that roll from one end to the other. It rises on short posts above a thick seat with natural edges, carried by chunky splayed legs. Built for a porch, a garden path, a mudroom or an entry. Carved and finished by hand to order.

The live edge is the armrest

The seat keeps the natural edge of the board, with sweeping or flared slab ends cut from the same timber, so the bench reads as one piece of wood.

Grain and knots vary piece to piece — the character of real wood.

Bench basics

Can it go outside?
Keep it under cover — a porch or covered patio — and re-oil each season; solid wood left in rain will grey and move.
Does it need assembly?
Smaller benches arrive ready to use; larger ones may need legs or a backrest bolted on, fixings included.
How do I choose a length?
Allow about 18–20" of seat per person; the size changes the price.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.
