Carved Leaf Back Bench, Solid Wood Entryway Bench with Overlapping Leaf Backrest, Live Edge Seat and Flared Legs, 40 to 83 Inch

The backrest is carved as broad leaves laid end to end, each with a raised center vein. It rises on short posts above a thick seat that keeps its natural edges, carried by chunky flared legs. Set it in an entry, on a covered porch or along a garden wall. Carved and finished by hand to order.

The live edge is the armrest

The seat keeps the natural edge of the board, with sweeping or flared slab ends cut from the same timber, so the bench reads as one piece of wood.

Grain and knots vary piece to piece — the character of real wood.

Bench basics

Can it go outside?
Keep it under cover — a porch or covered patio — and re-oil each season; solid wood left in rain will grey and move.
Does it need assembly?
Smaller benches arrive ready to use; larger ones may need legs or a backrest bolted on, fixings included.
How do I choose a length?
Allow about 18–20" of seat per person; the size changes the price.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.
